Nuclear Diplomacy in Iran
6:50am – Thursday 9 March 2006
The International Atomic Energy Agency has referred Iran to the UN
Security Council for possible sanctions over its controversial nuclear
program.

members of the Security Council, says it will oppose sanctions against
Iran when the council meets next week.
Paul Levental initiated the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Act in the 1970s, which imposed stricter controls on US nuclear trade.
He is now president of the Nuclear Control Institute and joins Breakfast from Washington DC.
